I am tired of this world we live in, where to use any service, we have to sign away our rights to sue them if they fuck us over.
Did you know that banks now are doing this thing where they don't just reject your debit card when you reach $0.00? Yeah, instead, when you think you still have $2 when you only have $1 and want to buy a $1.50 gallon of milk, they let you buy it, and then charge you at least $30 dollars. Basically a 20,000% loan.
I just want them to say "No, you don't have money in your account".
Not "Sure, you have money, but what we don't tell you, is that the money we just said is available is really a short term loan at 20,000%"
Fuck you banks. These days you can't trust anyone not to steal your money with a little computer programming.
Yeah, we should all be aware of our balances at all times. But I'm sorry, if you're poor, and living close to the red at all times, it's easy to go a couple days without looking at your account, or get a bill that charges without you knowing over the weekend.
It blows.
