Express yourself, don't repress yourself.

This is just my journal. Sometimes it's a place to rant, sometimes it's a place to just talk about how things are going for me.

Poem

Ah,
my feet are no longer being stood upon,
nor my seat besat,
I am myself now laying down,
Ah, oh Ahhhhh, says my back

The end.

Today was very hard.

Hmmmm

I go online and check my few blogs that I read... Jennifer, Elizabeth, Ermine... I don't feel like posting on mine, because they haven't.
I appreciate Jennifer's ability to post on something so simple. Like her enjoyment of showers. Here here! I toast you, and showers.
But that's silly. Not posting because nobody else has.
Maybe they're all waiting for me.
Maybe we're all just as busy.
Well, anyhow, I've posted.
Don't lose the people you love.

Fly fly away

So this morning at 0700, I got up and went to the fieldhouse.
I was early, but none of the cadets were there. I would have thought that at least one of them would have signed up, being as the Army only got three time slots.
So I waited a few minutes, and then the presenter guy came over.
"You ready to fly this thing Red?"
And I'm thinking... oh crap... i actually have to try and fly a top of the line stealth-jetfighter-bomber-awesome plane???
But I was the only one there, so big deal. hehe.
So I hop in, thinking, aw, my right hand isn't going to be able to use this thing.
WRONG! The thing fit perfectly. I did well enough, considering I'd never used a simulator like that before. This plane has been in the making since I was born, and now there will be 40 of them deployed to the air force next year. I got to fly it before air force pilots! Hahha.
So yeah, that was amazingly cool. I just want a helicopter one now!!

I hate titles like labels

Hard weekend.
Hard week for that matter.
I'm sick of whining about it though. Well, not really. More I'm just sick of not having anything else interesting to say. Don't ever get shot in the side of the knee from too close with a paintball.
It hurts.

My Grandfather died this weekend. He was a remarkable man. I feel it was kindof fitting that I was out training at an Army ROTC Field-Training-Excercise when he died. He was in the Army Air Corp in WWII.
I Salute you.
